Family-owned and operated since 1981, Great Northern Whitewater Rafting has spent over four decades perfecting the art of introducing people to Montana’s rivers. Based at their riverside lodge in West Glacier, they offer guided whitewater rafting, scenic float trips, and fly fishing on the Middle and North Forks of the Flathead — waters that run along and through the wilderness of Glacier National Park.

The family atmosphere translates directly into the experience: guides are warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making every trip memorable for guests of all ages and experience levels. Evening barbecues, riverside camping, and live music events make the lodge itself a destination. Beginners are as welcome as veterans, and the beginner-friendly trips make this a strong choice for families with younger adventurers. One of the most beloved outfitters in the region.
