This amazing and luxurious log home has been recently remodeled and upgraded with all new furnishings and decor. The Grand Alpine Lodge is the perfect combination of elegant mountain craftsmanship and Montana rustic charm! This ski-in ski-out home has amazing views! You will be at one of the best locations on the mountain and is in the heart of one of Montana’s finest ski resorts. The resort is well known for a pleasant variety of runs, short waits in line, and for its consistently good snow conditions . . . on average 300 inches a year! Praised in National Ski magazine as the #3 place to ski in the country!

When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling zip lines and an alpine slide, world-class downhill, and cross-country mountain biking, and the unique Walk in the Treetops. In addition, you have easy access to spectacular hiking, golfing, water sports, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, and Glacier National Park! The west entrance of Glacier National Park is about an hour away! Home to glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border, more than 700 miles of hiking trails, and crossed by the mountainous Going-to-the-Sun Road, Glacier National Park is a true bucket list item. This home is the perfect base camp for a visit to Montana’s majestic Flathead Valley. Whitefish is your four-season destination place!

This home is just a 15-minute drive away from historic Downtown Whitefish. If you enjoy shopping, this is the place for you! There are many Clothing, Souvenir, and Antique shops for you to enjoy. Take pleasure in some of the finest restaurants, bars, breweries, and distilleries that the Flathead Valley has to offer! There are fun events including music, theatre, and festivals year-round! City Beach at Whitefish Lake is also only 15 minutes away!

At 6,400 sq ft this property provides everything a large family or multiple families would need for the perfect Whitefish vacay! You'll love the stunning vaulted ceilings, large windows for ample light, and spectacular views! The floor plan is open and inviting. The living room features a large fireplace and a flatscreen HD Smart TV, with comfortable seating! The kitchen is fully equipped with all the items you would need along with tile counters, and plenty of space to prep! The large dining room table can seat 12, and you have 6 more spaces at the bar, perfect for gathering everyone together for a feast! The main level is where you will find the Master Bedroom! The master has a King-size bed, Flatscreen TV, and a full en-suite bath with a large jetted bathtub and tile stand-up shower. On this level, there is also a bunk room for the kids with 2 Twin over Queen bunk beds! Off of this bedroom is the added apartment to the home. This apartment has a full kitchen as well giving you even more space for cooking if needed. The apartment has a spacious living room with a flat-screen TV. There is one bedroom in this apartment with a King size bed and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The bathroom has two doors enabling others to access it as well. The upstairs of the apartment has an open kids' room with two Queen-size beds. There is a bathroom on this level with a tub only (no shower).

On the upper level in the main house, there are 2 more bedrooms! Bedroom #4 has a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom! Bedroom #5 has a King-size bed as well. There is also an open seating area which is great for remote learning, working or playing some games.

On the lower level in the main house is another living room with a fireplace and large flatscreen TV. You will also find a pool table for great family fun. This level also has another bedroom that is perfect for the kids with a Queen over Queen bunk bed. You can take in all the fresh mountain air sitting in your private hot tub! There is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. The property has parking for 2 vehicles in the garage as well as 4 additional cars in the driveway. Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

This property does NOT have air conditioning, and although not needed most of the year during the summer months the home can become warm during the day.

Vacay will not refund any portion of the rental for the cancelation/rescheduling of any local events or points of interest, inclement weather including floods, fires, or resulting smoke, seasonal changes including those which may impact river/lake conditions, or any activities unaffiliated with Vacay. Guests are encouraged to purchase trip insurance. Guests will be charged an additional fee for any damages, excessive trash, additional housekeeping, rental agreement violations, and for missing or damaged items. Exterior security cameras and video doorbells may be present at the property and are used to monitor trash pickup or activity when the home is vacant. By booking, guest agrees to reasonably expect indoor/outdoor insects and wildlife, and Vacay will not refund any portion of the rental for these byproducts of the environment. Guest also understands that Vacay does not own/operate hot tubs/pools in condo communities, therefore, does not charge additional, and will not refund for the loss of amenities outside of our control. For private properties, Vacay will refund up to $50 per full day for the loss of a hot tub and up to $75 per full day for the loss of a swimming pool. Wonderful stay for our four families. Location was amazing and it was very cozy. Only issue was the bedroom traffic pattern. The master is located in the center of the home and the only internal passing to one side of the cabin was through the master and its bathroom. Very strange layout but we conformed to it.
